Two of each.

And before you do that, don't. I'm kidding.

Ok so I am going to replace my stock trans cooler with a larger new one, what I am curious about is can I just eliminate it running through the engine radiator? Like I wouldn't have any ill effects besides the trans being slower to warm up on a cool day.

The coolant and trans temps balance each other in the stock radiator. In most climates, this is a good thing. It would work fine, but is there a reason you wanna bypass it?

Just simplify it, don't want to jack the rad and have two issues on my hands if something happens.

There's nothing wrong with it running in the rad. Mine goes in the radiator, in the cooler, then back to the tranny.

I would leave it. Tranny cooler helps keep coolant temps down because they're interwoven.

That's how it is from factory.

Yeah with my tranny gauge it hasn't risen near coolant temps. In theory it would help keep everything cooler but I feel like the impact is negligent in my climate.

Well unless the temps are independently the same, they'll balance each other to an extent. It isn't hurting you.
