XJ Ask the Question Thread
Adjust your tie rod to bring them to 1/8" toe in. Then you can adjust your drag link to straighten the steering wheel.
Also ensure your trackbar bolts are properly torqued. Many people fail to do that, myself included, and you don't wanna lose that nut while driving.

Relay is under the hood. Where under the hood depends on the year your XJ is. If you have a 97+ like me there is a relay that only controls the high beams off feature. I believe you have to have at least your parking brakes on and you can't have your high beams on. I had a lot of issues getting mine wired.

I've had that problem twice. Once was after a river crossing when the entire motor went underwater. It did that for a couple hours til it dried. The second time was a vacuum leak. In my case, the MAP line from the throttle body and one of the EGR lines were both loose.

Do my rear leafs look too flat to be saved or can I take the goofy supporter AAL off and put something like a Rough Country AAL on to achieve around a 3" lift?

I need to either drill out my yoke bolts or replace the yoke on my 8.25... I read somewhere it can mess up the backlash or the pre load on my gears if I remove the yoke. I have the tools to drill and tap but I really would rather not.
Greetings,
I'm replacing the ball joints on my '99 4x4, and the stud in the upper ball joint pulled out of the socket when I was removing the knuckle w/pickle fork.
Any easy way to fix this?
Thanks!

I used a hammer to get the knuckles off of my ball joints... Or just use the puller with the cup on the top and nothing on the bottom. Messing up the threads won't be an issue.
