Also ensure your trackbar bolts are properly torqued. Many people fail to do that, myself included, and you don't wanna lose that nut while driving.
The one on the axle, i tighten with a cheater bar, then one up on top, i just tighten it as much as i could with just my socket , and hand/ no cheater bar, then put in my saftey pin. I just put on my stock tires up front , i have a feeling its the tires due to they sat out back in my yard for years, all weather cracked, and probably out of balance . But thats for telling me to bring the tires in.

Relay is under the hood. Where under the hood depends on the year your XJ is. If you have a 97+ like me there is a relay that only controls the high beams off feature. I believe you have to have at least your parking brakes on and you can't have your high beams on. I had a lot of issues getting mine wired.

Could you help point out exactly where those lines are?

All that I've seen are round and smooth and have no tips. Hope this helps.

Do my rear leafs look too flat to be saved or can I take the goofy supporter AAL off and put something like a Rough Country AAL on to achieve around a 3" lift?

I need to either drill out my yoke bolts or replace the yoke on my 8.25... I read somewhere it can mess up the backlash or the pre load on my gears if I remove the yoke. I have the tools to drill and tap but I really would rather not.

Greetings,

I'm replacing the ball joints on my '99 4x4, and the stud in the upper ball joint pulled out of the socket when I was removing the knuckle w/pickle fork.

Any easy way to fix this?

Thanks!

I used a hammer to get the knuckles off of my ball joints... Or just use the puller with the cup on the top and nothing on the bottom. Messing up the threads won't be an issue.
