You can go to Napa and just buy the bearing. Tap out the old and tap in the new. Like $8 for bearing.

If the OEM springs are worn out then an AAL isn't going to last very long.

I'd buy a new spring pack.

Ever just take the seals off the bearing, inspect the innards, and then clean out the old grease and repack one? I did one of mine 4 years ago. Been doing it for years.

Could I build one from jy im adding a 3 in lift in a month and all my money has gone to that leafs are like another 300 dollars

I have before. Sometimes that seal gets brittle from heat. I found its hit or miss on repackaging them. Most places carry the bearing cheap. They are a common pulley bearing.

I got a 3'' lift on my Cherokee with Tuff country lower control arms, well the bushings in the tuff country aftermarket LCA is bad, so i want to change em. Well are they pressed in ? I dont have a press so i couldn't do it without. The bushings are 50 dollars, new lower control arms are $120, so it would be great if i can save some $$$$$$ . Let me know guys, thanks.

You can do a bastard pack with S-10 leafs. But doing it right so that it will ride well, flex well, and last long will take a lot of time.

I recommend throwing away those control arms and going with real ones from a reputable source like Iron Rock Offroad, BDS, Rubicon Express.

I should have never doubted you. I had written off the fuse because I had removed it while testing and put it back with a fresh fuse so I thought it would be good, but while I was running all over checking everything else it was just sitting there. It burnt out in the lowest fiber so it looked good until I got right up on it. You're a champ man.

I'm no expert but I don't think coolant is supposed to look like that... also, there's a bunch of sludge in the bottom of the overflow bottle. I'm anticipating that I need to get a new radiator and flush everything out?

I was never really taught how to properly maintain a vehicle other than oil, so now I'm learning the hard way. I'm going to look into checking the tranny fluid and putting new fluid in ASAP as well. Just got the oil changed. Put new spark plugs in a while ago. Can anyone suggest any other maintenance I should do?

Finish your tune up(wires, dizzy cap & rotor).

Drain & fill trans fluid. Replace filter.

Change fluid in differentials and clean with brake cleaner.

Coolant flush and fill(obviously).

New air filter.

Clean battery terminals.

Put dielectric grease in electrical connections.

So the past week or so I noticed a new noise. A bad kind of noise. From I believe the front right area, starting above ~50-60 km/h I hear a sort of whining that sounds more like rubber or plastic dragging than an metallic squeal. It disappears below 20 km/h. Pitch and volume are speed-related.

I screwed up my wrist and I think I have a sinus infection so I figured I'd get some other opinions as I don't have stamina to do much right now. I'm thinking this is probably the wheel hub. Concur? I'm hoping I just need to re-torque the bolts.

I have a 99 cherokee classic. The stock fog lights do not work. The light on the switch works. I am getting 5 volts at the fog light. Can anyone tell me what the stock voltage should be?
