GAH!!! The plague continues. Finally having followed your advice and replacing the tcu fuse, my speedometer isn't working now. Thinking I may have damaged it when I had the dash taken apart, or is there an electrical issue I should look into
I have a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Xj, do all the xjs come with factory foglight wiring ? I want to put stock foglights on my Cherokee, but I don't see any wires around were the factory lights go lol

It's cable operated. Check the connections for tightness.

I have a dilemma i was hoping someone else could chime in. i have a 2001 4x4 xj stickshift i just replaced all 7 u joints with MOOG super strength joints except on the rear driveshaft where it connects to the slip yoke. Ok so rockauto, o-reilly, and autozone all told me that the ujoint was a different size than the rest. all were 280 u-joints except for the one connected to the slip yoke is a 270. well pulled it all apart and its a 280 as well. Am i missing something? ive searched and searched with no luck. does anyone else have 2 different size u joints on their cherokee??

Buying OME soonish
So I am gonna be in the market soon for a OME 2" lift. I wanted to keep my Jeep pretty much stock but my suspension is 23 years old. I already have 235/75R15 all terrain tires which are rubbing on full turns. For the time and money it seems worth it to get a 2" lift. Everything I read about OME is great ride and they are highly recommended.
So my question is where is the best deal on OME? I know Quadratec sells the kit for $870. http://www.quadratec.com/products/76090_80X_PG.htm But are there other places that can beat that price?

Lol, thats quite a general question there sean. Stock gears are good for stock xjs.
Its when you add 31"+ tires that you start to notice a decrease in power and mpg from your jeep with stock gearing, thats why people regear, to try and get back to stockish power/mpg.
So whats your question?
