my 2001 jeep sport Cherokee has and idling problem. everything is stock on the car and it only happens when to engine is warmed up to the normal 210 on the gauge then it starts to choke out, jump and almost stall when I don't rev the engine what could it be? its really aggravating.
it runs fine once I start driving it around.

SOMETIMES a code will store without tripping the CEL.. seems so pointless though..
oh ****! haha, id say either salad or 94sport are correct, depending on whats done to quarter panel..

No cap and rotor on his '01. The rest is good advice, though.

My first thought was the vent behind the window since it looked like it came from above, but I think salads right. There are rust holes behind the wheels on the quarters. Ive been meaning to do a cut and fold on the quarters to get rid of the rust holes. I know I did a clean cut and fold in the wheel well, no seems split, I didnt cut out any spot welds or cut too high.

Just do this. Cut and fold the fender and quarter panel.

For reference the OEM is NTK. One can do a complete O2 sensor refresh for a 2001 at Rock Auto for like $120-130, or roughly the cost of a single sensor from the dealer!
Impressive. Your Jeep still had enough metal to actually hold crap in!

Be very careful when doing this. Airbag modules have a capacitor in them with just enough power to deploy the airbag even if unhooked. So yes, youncan plug it back in just be czreful not to ground out the connector or plug it in backwards by mistake.

roger that! ty for correction!
ha.. its hard to really justify trimming too much at this point. when i can get some tarz on it then yes, till then it'd be goofy..i should really worry more about those lameass flares i got on. i grabbed my old stock ones from storage (my folks shed) so if i actually motivate maybe ill cut em a bit and mount em..
