so the jeep never came with a rear wiper in the first place? Never heard of that....
Anyways, i'm sure there is wiring for the wiper and the switch if it wasn't. Jeep didn't vary very much on their wiring harnesses, they pretty much used a standard one for every option (except engine/tranny of course). All the pigtails should be there somewhere you just have to find them.

4.5 inch lift questions
my plans for the front are a 2.5 inch spacer gc v8 coils and an extra isolator between the top of the coil and the... top coil mount? i plan to build a pack for the rear... unless anyone has a better suggestion for the front my question is do i need a lowered pittman arm as well as an adj. drag link? t case drop? yj brake lines? im brand new to jeeps any help would be greatly appreciated. i would like anywhere from 4 to 5 inches of lift.
p.s. im having a baby soon and ride comfort is somewhat of an issue (maybe not the bronco/f150 coils) thank you all in advance

they say anything over 3" you need longer brake lines, longer ebrake cables, you'll need to address driveline vibes with a SYE (slip yoke adapter), adjustable track bar.

Any places you know of rocko that has decent, budget minded prices on a SYE kit, can I pull it off a different transfer case ( btw I have the 231... is that even a decent transfer case anyways? )

231 is an awesome tcase. there are better ones out there, but for what it is, its damn good.
i dont think you can get it off any other stock tcase. there are a lot of companies out there that offer good SYE, im sure theres a vendor on here that sells em for a decent price.
for track bar i recommend the ironrockoffroad.com double shear adjustable track bar. super beefy and with it being adjustable its definitely something you need especially if you plan to go bigger in the future.
for control arms i recommend ironrockoffroad upper and lower control arms. they're truly overbuilt and underpriced!
for rubber/soft brake lines you can use stock parts from other vehicles, i just can't think which ones exactly right now. do a quick search and you can find it. for longer e-brake cables you can use 2 passenger side brake cables from a 91 YJ.

Wow... th ose prices really are more reasonable than everywhere else I've looked, now are aftermarket control arms necessary with the setup I've decided on? I'm ordering that double shear track bar on payday for sure!
