Currently have a ****e Valucraft battery in my 91 XJ (poor college guy at the time) that is starting to suck at life. Slow crank when cold, just blows. Killed it a time or two and is past the 1 year replacement warranty.

I am wanting to get an EverStart battery from Wal-Fart, but I would prefer a Maxx over a Plus. I've seen ES Maxx 24 tossed around a couple times for an XJ... which one should I get?

I suggest the one with the best warranty. If your budget supports it, get a Die Hard Platinum.

Greasing the slip yoke is not that hard
Oh alright, i understand it isnt to hard. But i figured maybe there is a certain type of stuff your need to use. I cant complain, i doubt it has ever been greased, and has over 200k miles.

What would cause a clutch safety switch to not engage until further past its typical position? Instead of simply pushing the clutch in, I now have to force the pedal down as far as possible in order to get it to crank. Is there an adjustment or is the CSS going bad? 98' xj, 40/ax15.

Do they make CB radios, with built on antennas ? Not a big fan of the antenna sticking out on the side of the jeep.

I put a threaded 'plug' in my Dana 35... no welding.

Went to install my RE 1.5" lift shackles and I ran into trouble. First I snapped the head off of my 1/2" ratchet. Then tried a 125 psi air wrench but it wouldn't budge the bolt at all. Am I screwed?

sure, but I'd just buy a different cover with a threaded plug since the stock cover is gonna peel off the chunk long before the rubber plug fails

Yea, its a handheld one that probably won't work well in jeep but you can get out to talk to ppl. That or get a magnetic base antenna and hope a tree don't take it off

X2 I am quite fond of the quality of my solid diff cover. I'd go that route if I where you (which I was)
