What do you think of a Uniden Pro 510XL . I could get a Cobra 29 Classic that works great for free, but cant find a damn place to mount the thing.

Default 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee

My jeep starts with a jump and runs for a few miles and then dies. I have replaced the battery, alternator and serpentine belt. Any ideas??

Shouldn't be an issue thwarting uniden. Never used it but alot of truckers always say its not always the unit but the wiring, the mount and the Mic that makes a difference. Rice crispie boxes are a different story

Small Uniden or Cobra. Good antenna and cable, set the SWR properly.

That's my problem. The airtex matched up with the one I had in the tank originally but when I just tried to buy the pumps at Autozone they didnt fit the original bracket and I actually somehow "Melted/powderized" the fuel residue on the first pump I tried installing on the factory bracket. I burned the pump up and the gas had powderized to the pump in a white filmy powder. It was weird. So I just swapped the sending unit with the only one they offered. Now I believe I need another sending unit/pump.

That's what you get with Airtex... They have an extremely bad name for being unreliable pieces of ****. My advice is to get a quality unit.

Just live with it for awhile and save up for the carter module

I plan to buy a fuel pressure gauge today to verify my pressure.
My question is when the gauge is attached to the rail what is normal pressure and what should I look for? 38psi?

Would the pressure change with rpm change or should it be steady at any throttle point?

1990 should be ~39 PSI give or take 5. You should see fluttering related to RPM

Fluttering? Like slight variation of actual psi?

What's acceptable flutter through say low medium and high throttle?

Yes. Within 5 PSI is the acceptable flutter.

Fixed my heat problem but now my secondary fan won't turn on, the only reason I'm not overheating is that it's cold outside

If its cold outside, you shouldn't need the secondary fan. What is your temps?
