On that topic...What's a reasonable adjustable track bar to get? I like the sounds of the double sheer, so whatever is good there. I am only doing a 3" w/ 31s build, no winch for the foreseeable future. I know SOME of the IRO stuff is good, but some isn't...
Also anyone know VWs? Fix my lady's car, for the love of god. I'm going to name is Christine, because its going to kill me.

Sway-bar links up front and track bar should be a part of any lift over 2", whether in a kit or something you tack on. I ordered extended links for a not-so-quick-disconnection setup, and relocated my track bar by drilling a new hole. Rear sway can go, it's very useless. Longer brake lines are a good idea, anything that was old will suddenly show you how old it was like U joints and steering linkage. If you replace the steering order bits for a ZJ with V8, nice little upgrade for almost the same price.

I doubt it would have cleaned this out of mine. That was a lot of build up. I think that is the sometimes part. Cat, they insist it is safe. I have seen no one on here claiming it killed their cat since I have been on here a year now.
That is how much I cleaned out of intake manifold when I replaced my header recently. The block had just about as much but that all went on the floor and not pictured. Out of a 99 with 163,xxx miles.

Seen an C8.25 with the same gears as mine...what spline count am I looking for? I have a 99 w/ 242 & a D35 rear. Am I matching splines on the driveshaft? May use this thing to put discs on, and a new driveshaft w/ SYE if I'm already taking it apart and keep it in the garage for a few months if its cheap enough to build up slowly. I don't want to regear, I just want to beef up my build. I don't plan on ever going over 31" tires and 3" lift, but would like to build it strong & reliable if its cheap enough.

Dana 35 non c-clip - 27 spline, 1.18" diameter shafts, 7.58" ring gear, 2.62" axle tube - used 84-89
Dana 35 c-clip - 27 spline, 1.18" diameter shafts, 7.58" ring gear, 2.62" axle tube - used 90-01
Chrysler 8.25 - 27 spline, 1.17" diameter shafts, 8.25" ring gear, 3" axle tube - used 91-96
Chrysler 8.25 - 29 spline, 1.21" diameter shafts, 8.25" ring gear, 3" axle tube - used 97-01

Looks like 29 if you are pulling from a 97-01. 27 if a 91-96.

Yes. If your engine has been running good gas with decent detergents you'll likely just get a smokeshow without change. Heard that a lot. If you do have a massive pile of buildup, anything dislodged or dissolved etc can absolutely destroy the O2 sensor or get lodged in the cat if it's large enough.

Like sycoglitch said it's easy to mess up and the new angle will vastly accelerate wear on the frame-side joint. It's a temporary solution IMHO.

TJs and XJs have the same front end, front CAs, JKS discos, steering should work. Subtract 1" from springs and shocks. Front axle is LP so it's only good for the shafts and knuckle-outwards. NV3550 is good, well except for the blown synchro, NP231 is the same guts but clocked differently from an XJ's, SYE is the same. Speakers, wheels, tires, maybe the front seats (maybe?). Front DS may work with an SYE in an XJ, ask the seller for measurements. Engine block isn't a direct swap into any XJ.
