Yep, due to triboluminescence.
Question:
I'm mounting my new bumper and light bar after work. The feet of the light bar each have a mounting hole, and there are studs welded vertically on top of the bumper to attach the light.
I'm curious if anyone has nifty ideas for securing the light bar to the 1/4" studs. I currently just have nylon locknuts.

I want to be able to remove it if needed, but it doesn't need to be a quick disconnect deal. Welding it to the bumper is out of the question.
I don't expect any trouble where I live, but I'd rather have it more secure if someone has a good idea.

Is the stud thick enough to drill a hole in and use a small padlock on

So it seems like the Jeep is wanting to idle badly at random intervals. Earlier I was pumping gas and I noticed it kinda sputtering a bit... was in park. Got in, put it in drive to leave and the RPMs shot up to 1500 as soon as I put it in drive and shot forward a bit. Then I was at McDonalds and the RPMs were randomly going around between 400-800.. Then, I picked up a girl and I was pulling up to a stop sign and RPMs dropped to 200. It seems to happen when I come to a stop. Also, it seems to stop happening after it's warmed up a bit but that could just be in my head. Also, the code for my upstream o2 is coming and going very frequently. It went off 3 times today and then came back on right after. If it comes on again I'm going to drop by AutoZone and make sure it's only throwing the o2 code. I really need to invest in a scanner.
I'm going to test the TPS (seriously, it's getting a bit ridiculous now. Every time I try it either starts raining on me or it's dark.), clean out throttle body and IAC. Any other suggestions?
