Possibly. How did the wet compression test on #3 compare with the other 5?

It SEEMS ambiguous, but Jeeps actually accelerate in increments of five. Above 30 means at least 35.

The other 5 didn't change much. Maybe +/- 5 psi. Number three went from 30 dry to 100 wet

That's telling you something. The oil sealed the rings.

About to make a big order with rock auto but they have two different water pumps listed for my jeep. 88renix 4.0 5spd. Do I need the 2.31 hub height or 3.72?

Would bad rings cause oil to be in the coolant and not coolant in the oil?

Im almost positive its the smaller one. I got the smaller size from AutoZone and it was right. I'm sure someone else can verify that though

Compare.

Or post a picture of it and someone can tell ya.

Dana 35 have a smooth round bottom and 8.25 has a flat lip on the bottom.

I'll bet that your 00 has a D35.

It's torn down lol. The head gasket looked fine. The only issue with the head was the exhaust valve on cylinder number three. I had it torn down in about three hours yesterday lol. Well removing the head that is.
