RockAuto.com carries them made by C2C Fabrication, you can also order them directly from http://c2cfabrication.com/. The "inner" is officially called the rocker backing plate

I replaced my XJ stock seats with a set I pulled from a '96 ZJ. They are nice, but too short for me. The top of the seat back doesn't clear my shoulders and the head rest is below my head. How much taller are WJ seats? I've read every seat replacement thread I could find here and on the internets at large. I had a WJ for about 6 months and don't remember thinking anything negative about the seats before I sold it and went back to an XJ. I went to the salvage yard here, but both WJ seats had already been pulled. Bottom line, I want seats in my XJ that have an adjustable head rest that comfortably reaches my head and a seat back that covers my back. At 6'0" it's not too tall.. an order. I'm considering Corbeau, Bestop, WJ, Mastercraft, etc... but I prefer the cheapest that will get the job done well. Any suggestions?
I just bought some Rugged Ridge seats and they are great. Tall and hold you in the seat.
I've looked at those. The only reviews I've found talk about the recline handle breaking easily and receiving seats with rips. What's your take? I'm interested in the denim version, but the rugged ridge description says both the vinyl and denim versions are vinyl. Which ones did you go with? Thanks!

shock mount problems
so i have broke my stock mount 3 times now and i was wondering if anyone has used any aftermarket brackets on their xj. if so what ones? i really dont want to have to get a different set of shocks ie shorter or stock ones. i have 4in lift and the upper pin bar conversion.

Sounds like you don't have the correct shocks for the application.

I'm having a brain fart. Is there a technical for the Aux AC fan? I need a new one and I'll be damned if I can find it. I know I'm just being stupid and can't figure out the right thing to search for. My Google Fu needs your help.

Oh, just auxiliary fan or electric fan. You can look up OE part number here probably http://www.factorymoparparts.com/

No reverse lights, sometimes no plate light.
88 4.0 ax15 trans. Just swapped connectors on the trans from the old to new. What fuse should I be looking at and any other ideas I should look?
