Catalytic Converter
My Jeep makes this awful rumbling noise when it is first started until the engine fully heats up. a neighbor told me that it was my catalytic converter. is this a relitively easy thing to fix? also when speeding up under the hood makes this metal on metal grinding noise i am thinking it is one of the pullies for the belt that is going out...but it doesnt do it when the car is idling...just when it speeds up..any suggestions?

electrical problems
Last night I was driving my 93 Jeep Cherokee to the store on the way everything worked fine I.E. Headlights and turn signals. On the way back when I pulled the **** for the headlights the signal indicators and highbeam indicator stayed solid or always on. no headlights (outside)or turn signals at all rear running lights work fine maxi's and regular fuses not blown also it has 4-ways so I know its not that relay dunno where to troubleshoot next.
Any help appreicated.

You cat probably IS shot. They are relatively easy to fix. Just detach the old one (probably have to cut it out), grab yourself a new one (Magnaflow direct fits go for about $70), and bolt it in place of the old one.

But my problem was when i tried calling out, all you could hear was static on the other end, kinda different than yours, but just a thought.
Does that mean my antenna isn't grounded properly??

Just unplugged the coax connector from the cb with the engine running. No more engine noise.

Fender flare woes
Alright, so today while I was driving my front left fender flare came off. After playing a "live action" version of frogger to get it out the highway, I notice that only one tab was broken. How do I get the flare back on to the metal bracket on the body?
