Salad/Cruiser, do you either of you happen to know if the ball-stud that the hatch struts hang on to is 10mm? I'm trying to find my own info as much as possible, but I'm not really sure how to search for this stuff... lol. I don't know the proper name. Found a few relevant threads but all of the links are dead.

If Chryco hadn't purchased them, Renix would have evolved on it's own.

96. It seems like 10mm is the "standard" size throughout automotive uses...

Going to get some of these:

Yes, 10mm as far as I'm aware. My replacement struts included new brackets that look just like that, the struts themselves have a ball joint at each end. Sachs SG214022

Awesome, thanks! I just ordered the Monroes from Rockauto.. and NAPA sells those brackets.

And yeah, PO was a jackass... but he put down a rug before he "welded" that **** so at least only a little of the spatter got on the carpet...

So I have a RockKrawler 3 link kit.... It comes with drivers side upper arm. After installing the long arms, should I cut off the passenger side upper mount or leave it alone? I ll not be using it anyway.

Disconnect both heater hoses, the larger diameter is the inlet of the core, the smaller of the two is the outlet.
Start by putting a hose in the OUTLET hose, and flush water through it till clean (reverse flushing). Then put the hose in the INLET and do the same. Repeat untill no more crud comes out
Reconnect hoses, check coolant level.

Default Cylinder #1

Why is it that there are several codes relating to (misfire) cylinder #1?
It seems this cylinder is most often mentioned compared to others...Is cylinder #1 a 'special' one or something?

P0301 is the only misfire cyl 1 code... Not sure what you're asking here? Are you confused by P0201 which is an injector circuit? All cyls have the same codes.

..
No, it's just that I read many threads mentioning issues with cylinder #1. Was just wondering why cylinder #1 seems to be mentioned more often as being an issue than other cylinders...but maybe that could be my perception.
