Nope... no effect. If it's leaking that badly the oil pressure sending unit is likely full of oil. You'll find it near the oil filter. It's probably smashed or dirty. Whenever oil pressure problems are suspected check this thing first, and before replacing anything confirm it with a mechanical gauge that screws into that port.

welded front with 35s is it worth doing the 01-04 wj powersteering swap on my 99 intake or just save money and get hydro assist?

Has anyone here installed the Walker 55277 down pipe and put a flex pipe in it? I'm trying to figure out what diameter I need to buy.

Do you mind noises my friend? The wj pumps have a good reputation for being quite noisy lol. Have you thought of getting the smaller pulleys? They give you the extra oomph at lower speeds that we need when off roading. Might be a cheaper option to go till you can save up for a hydro assist as that is the best way to go.
