My friend has a 2000 Jeep cherokee and is leaking coolant bad i talked to a few friends and they all think its the head gasket and head bc when you squeeze the radiator hose coolant squirts out toward the back of the block right around where the manifold ends. Any ideas or useful info thatll help? ive worked on jeeps before but never had one do this.

What's the deal with all the XJ pics I see that have the mounting stud for the gas shocks on the rear hatch relocated to a lower area on the body for added leverage? Stud in the pic is mounted way lower than mine.
Is there a write up on this? Yea I know the 97+'s have them like that from the factory, but I know you can relocate on the old XJ's.

What is the big canister behind the oil filter close to the firewall on renix era 4.0? Is it for the egr system? Can it be legally eliminated? I swapped a new oil fiter adapter in and it would make it 10x easier to change the filter if i could remove it
