Got some money to spend this weekend but not sure on which
-35 inch Goodyear kevlars. Currently have two 33 kevlars in the front, one bfg at and cooper disco in the rear
-welder and steel to build rear bumper tire carrier
-long arms and ball joints
-4.56 gears and probably start building a 8.8. I've got a 29 spline 8.25 now though
What do you guys think first?

That's kind of where I was heading as well since I've got no rear bumper right now and need a welder for many other projects. Just waiting for the welder I want to come back in stock

Is this the goodyear lower radiator hose I need: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...268&cc=1431776 Is this the goodyear upper radiator hose I need:http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/more...374&cc=1431776 Just want to be sure because I'm getting them braided. I think the second one is correct, not sure about the first? 99 4.0L.

Bad Vibrate
Okay this one is a bit of a head scratcher, I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited. Completely stock suspension with 30 inch a/t tires. When I'm driving over 65 I have an awful vibrate, like so bad I have no clue where it's coming from. I was told it could be my front drive shaft and to put it into 4 high to see if it made it any worse. Strange thing is the vibration stops in 4 high, but after switching back in to 2wd it comes back. Any ideas on what that could be?
OH, Yea, right. After you check with a mechanical gauge. I skipped that part after I removed the valve cover on mine. Didn't have any room for the oil in there, ha-ha. It also had so much blow by, it's a wonder it even fired up.
My brush guard is pretty much a cosmetic light holder. I'd like to change that, I have tow hooks already, so I'm not looking to pull on it. I'd like to be able to push things with my brush guard (I honestly can't tell you a good reason why). Could I beef up the stock front bumper with angle iron? Kinda like this https://www.cherokeeforum.com/showth...794&styleid=16 I'm strictly just trying to push (not ram) things, not be pulled out by it? How viable would this be?

So a couple of weeks ago the roads were covered in ice and I had it in 4 high. I turned into a driveway and I went to back out and as I was turning the cab started getting really smokey like a fire and it smelled almost electrical. I immediately dropped it into 2wd and it stopped. I've used 4wd a few times since with no issues but I've honestly been paranoid about my jeep now.
Could this be transfer case or even power steering related? (I wasn't at full lock when backing up but was close) I hadn't ran the 4wd for very long so I don't think it had much time to get hot.

Try and pinpoint exactly where the smoke was coming from. There may be a residual smell that will help locate it.

I'll check, but I thought those were rare and don't support big tires. Any idea what the cheapest aftermarket carrier would be, been trying to find one under 500 for a week now.
