That's strange. My '91 Limited with AW4 has that on it too, why would it have one?
Edit: Ignore the fact that all three of the pictures are the same, the app started freakin out

Yeah I've got that crappy Bendix 9 ABS I gotta take to the dealership for warranty repair and yeah I've the 242 as well. Watcha mean "single part number is much cheaper"? I was just wondering why that'd arrow would be there for an automatic if its an upshift light.

I mean a single part number is cheaper to mass produce versus multiple variations. Most of the XJ electrical systems are identical regardless of trim and options. My 5-speed with NP231 has lights for Part Time, Cruise, and ABS even though I have none of that junk. My wife's AW4 has an upshift light too.

Left side top to bottom.
Parkbrake applied or brake fluid pressure failure.
FullTime 4wd engaged NP242 only.
PartTime 4wd engaged. NP231 and NP@$@ when PartTime or 4 Lo selected.
Emissions maintenance light on Renix. Means time to change the oxygen sensor the first time.
Antilock brake system failure
Right side top to bottom:
Seatbelt not fastened.
Upshift indicator light for manual trans equipped vehicles
Low windshield washer fluid for those who have the sensor.
What I did was shine a work light through the lens so you could see what COULD be there if the vehicle was equipped that way. They left the bulbs out if the vehicle didn't have that equipment or option.

Annoying water leak(s) in cargo area. Thought I had it narrowed down to the passenger side rear window seal, as it was slightly pulled from the window in the top rear corner. I sealed that with good painters tape to verify if that was it, and/or if it was the only spot.
After lots of rain last night, I have a small lake on the passenger side and a small, separate pond on the drivers side so likely leaking in a couple spots???
- Roof rack is not likely source as I just replaced the headliner and saw no evidence there.
- Hinges not likely source either? Again no sign while replacing headliner.
- Hatch window seal is not rolled as shown here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/rea...er-leak-33903/
- Lower corners of the hatch glass do have water in the weep hole area (outside)
- Hatch door seal looks good except at the bottom center around the latch area.
Should I just replace the window seals (sides and hatch) and hope for the best?
Where are the usual suspect/trouble areas? What am I missing?

Should I reset my computer in my XJ? Installed 703s last weekend along with header, 99+ intake, and full exhaust. It's not running bad and am putting in a spectre cowl intake here in a few hours. It's only ran a little rough on start up after fuel rail was depressurized and once after I got on it and then brought it to a stop shortly after. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

It won't hurt anything but seems like a waste of effort. I didn't take the extra steps and neither have a few friends. (we have OBD-II, I can't speak for OBD-I. Renix's idea of short term adaptive memory is somwhere between a few seconds and since last power on so nothing to reset there)

There's some voodoo to clear short term adaptive memory but IMO it's not necessary. The PCM relearns over 20 drive cycles anyway, which it still has to learn after you reset it to rich defaults.
