If you clean off all the rust first, yes.

Find a product called Rust Mort. Easy to use and kills the rust. You can paint right over it.

Haven't tried it yet, but watch the included video. Seems simple enough and I like the "extreme chassis black."

My XJ was done, frame off prior to me purchasing. My TJ on the other hand I need to work on this summer. No matter what you do to prevent it, New England finds a way to screw your Jeep over.

Lol, I was talking to a buddy about what I wanna do with my TJ while texting on here...got my wires crossed. Meant to say it was done, while telling my bud to look up frame off restores on wrangler forum on his cell. And no, I actually got my XJ in near mint condition for $3k. I've probably put that much into it since. Researching places to take the TJ to for complete frame work. This is looking to be a cost I'm not ready to take on.

Do you want it to work when you need it? If so, do research. That's a big purchase, and you should understand what you're buying.

So i attempted to see if my water pump was working today, and i read some where on here that you should be able to pinch the tubes coming off the thermostat housing and feel the coolant circulating through the hoses. I didn't really feel a thing. Also the jeep is 21 years old and it looks like pump is original. Furthermore i read on here you can take off the radiator cap and look down to see the coolant flowing? That didn't happen either, the coolant just sorta sat there in a puddle. so i tried squeezing the hoses again and i noticed the coolant in the radiator cap location rise and fall when i pinched and release the hoses. Thoughts? Should i swap my pump or look elsewhere for overheat problems?

Any idea how to get these damn back doors to come open from the outside. It's sticking **** and can't open it. Wife turned the child locks on so can't open from inside now either. Grrrr

On our older XJ's, the lock mechanism likes to stick locked on the rear doors. I cleaned and regreased the linkages and pivots and they work much better.
