TBH ive never personally seen it used but i knew the more hardcore trailers on the forum would know of use of this weight oil. Good to know though.

A coworker of mine swears by 20w 50. I'm inclined to take his advice since he runs a 1000hp 1970 GTO at the track and has his kids in mini drags. I'm thinking of going with 20w 40 on this next oil change then 20w 50 in the summer

There are so many options for antennas so don't limit yourself to just the 4' fiberglass or 102" whip. Everyone will have different opinion even with the same setup in. the same vehicle.
Thx man. Will do.

As I'm still battling alternator noise I don't really have a review of the cb's performance yet. I'm thinking though I want to upgrade to a Cobra 29 or 25 cuz they are tried and true always good reviews.

Default Thud Noise

Hey guys,

After work today I plan to check out a noise coming from my car before I get home I figured I would consult with the experts first (you guys).

Alright so when driving 20+mph and I start to slow down I hear a thud! noise and the car shifts slightly. Also when I take my foot off the pedal it sounds a little rough.

The thud comes a couple seconds after I start applying the brake. I am going to check all my fluids.

I may be way off but I am thinking Torque Converter?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks all.

Hey I need some advice...I'm starting to get aggravated lol...the jeep just started acting funny again...a while back when u come to a stop light or stop sign it would sputtered down and die...if it didn't die when u took off it would hesitate then kick in all of a sudden...had it looked at they scanned it and came back with the msd sensor...so I bought a new one, replaced it it was fine....but like I said its doing it again and the check engine light just came on again....any ideas?

msd sensor? i have no idea what that is.

sounds like your throttle body is really dirty. Grab yourself some throttle body cleaner and a lint-free cloth, and clean the inside up really good, making sure to get below the butterfly valve also (avoid spraying directly into the sensor slots).

If that doesn't solve it you may have a fuel delivery problem or a malfunctioning idle-air control motor. Check the fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge and test the IAC (do a search for the procedure).

I was thinking idle air control myself.

Sorry meant the map sensor...the one that plugs into the throttle body....and update...I don't like doing it but I disconnected the battery cables to reset the computer and the check engine light shut off..but it still does it...when sitting still at idle has a lil sputter and when u take off it hesitates then all of a sudden kicks in and goes...
