Ok so on a 1989 ax-15, with the internal slave, how do you get the slave out? We have the whole transmission and tc off and we are at the slave, we just can't get the slave off. Thanks in advanced.
Ben and Kay
( ps, not for out jeep, it's a 1989 YJ, but the transmissions should be the same.)

Removal (Cherokee & Wrangler)
1) Drain clutch master cylinder. Disconnect line at clutch
master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder lines. Remove transmission
and transfer case. Remove insulator bolts and slide insulator and
bracket off lines. See Fig. 1.
2) Remove retaining nut. Pry nut upward and off mounting pin
on transmission front case. Remove assembly.
Installation (Cherokee & Wrangler)
To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed hydraulic
system.

oil pressure sending unit is likely bad, or the wiring connector is loose. Happens a lot if you bumped it when changing the filter.
looks like this, and is located on top of the oil filter elbow:

they dont have rims or tires...so its hard to tell when its sitting on the rotors...i was lucky enough to get the rims from one when they took them off...they were 33/12.50/15s but the fenders were trimmed horrible and bashed up pretty bad, and the tires had DEEP grooves from hitting the fenders
