lets say i have a light bar and 4 lights on it. Is it possible to wire in a flasher to make only 2 lights come on, then go out, then the other two come on and go out? sorta like a light bar directional? Also would it be possible to have this feature activated by one switch, while at the same time having them on another switch for normal operation?(all on)

I stand corrected. I'm considering the electrical tape over the check engine light mod. I keep getting the, "Blue's check engine light is still on and I don't think it's gunna fix itself!" attitude from the gf. Anyone got a fix for that? I'm leaning towards the duct tape over her mouth mod as well!!!
As for the GF, tape is a better choice than a ring.

Different tires for Cherokee Sport
I need new tires for my 94 Sport but am strapped for cash. I was told that I need 215 75 15. I can purchase a very slightly used set of 215 70 15 tires at a huge discount. I think this will lower my truck by 1/2 - 1". I was also researched that they might hold less weight. Is there anything else I should be concerned about? Are these two things worth worrying about if they fall within my budget? Any insight would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Woody

215/70R15s are likely passenger car tires (P215/70R15), I would not put them on an XJ. You are right they are a fair bit smaller than what is supposed to be on there. I would go with LT225/75R15 as that's what you're supposed to run.
Hit up the regional and for sale ads here for someone getting rid of their stock size rubber. Or Craigslist.

As far as I can tell that's a dealer-installed pretend security system. Rip out the driver's knee panel and see if you find one of these pieces of ****: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/man...horted-154276/

The ones here are just that...several acres of rotting rust buckets. There are many Cherokees there but gutted, none have hoods, and those open compartments have seen years of New England winters. All I've been able to get in the last 19 months were a few center console latches. And I go several times a week to see if they've gotten anything new XJ and TJ wise. Somehow I'm always a day late and they're completely raped by other scavengers...

Before considering these tires I did look them up and they are rated for mini-vans and crossover vehicles. There are some similarities to these vehicles and the Cherokee. I understand it's not exactly a Cherokee, but I'm also not using mine for off road and heavy weight, but as a commuter vehicle.
I'm just curious if I can get by in the interim till I become a little more financially stable.
I have been searching junk yards and craig's list. A lot of time involved chasing down old, dry rotted, etc tires which people advertise as "really good".
If anyone on here is in the northern NJ area and taking off used tires in change for bigger bulkier tires, I'm all ears
