What isnt? It has 153k and the po's did no maintenance expect maybe a 10-15k mile oil change... Driving home and my trans was so hot i leaned my leg on the floor and burned a hole through my pants. (no carpet in)

Anyone know the size of the 4 line going into the expansion valve off hand? I'm working on replacing mine and it seems some of my wrenches have walked away somehow. Thanks for any input. 94 Cherokee if it matters.
Looking at replacing all my cooling system before it fails on me in the mountains randomly.
Gates is pretty solid for waterpumps? I know they make good belts, typically. Also just looking for an OEM 2 row rad, I see them for ~$80 on rockauto. What else should I replace, the upper & lower hose, new coolant, new t-stat (motorad, correct?) Anything else? Then just fill er up with distilled water and the green goodness?
I am going to probably drain it and try to spray out the heater core. When I first got it, a garage told me my rad was starting to seep so I figure its not worth doing a drain on the coolant without replacing it.

anyone know the measurements for the stock bump stops? i need how far the end of the bumpstop, is from the bottom part of the mount(for said bumpstop) for the front.
and the distance from the bottom of the "Frame" to the bottom of the bump stop in the rear...
measuring for bump stops without any bump stops...

drain/refill the tranny until the fluid is no longer coffee colored, but its quite cherry red. AND.... draw power steering with a turkey baster and refill it over and over again until it comes clear.. your p/s seals will thank you ... U should use high mileage oil... it has stuff to keep the engine seals fresh longer... good luck Jim... Kirk out

What can cause a constant whistle in the back of the jeep? my89xj and I couldn't pinpoint it. No holes in the exhaust and he pinched a few lines, and it didnt stop. We thought maybe fuel pump?

my '93 Cherokee country would idle fine for about thirty minutes. then shut off, as if by a switch... diagnostic check found MAP(manifold absolute pressure) sensor bad. changed it, stalling went away.. running swell ever since . this sensor mounts on the firewall IFO driver.. it has a vacuum line to the manifold.... I got the ac/Delco sensor at $55.00.... 100,000 mile part.. worth it !!
i did suspect the map sensor but for some reason i started checking egr stuff first and fount the faulty vacuum fitting (not sure what its called) and my problem was fixed i never did make it to the map sensor testing
