been watching the clockwork orange build and with all the lighting, I was wondering if there is any XJ out there with solar power of any kind?
I will have to start getting educated on solar power

You could use a solar panel system to charge batteries to power auxiliary electronics when the truck is off. Not much purpose on a vehicle beyond that. The alternator provides this function when the engine is running.

Ok so another question. Im going to take a crack at replacing my front axle ujoints since theyre probably original and im getting vibrations and clicking/weird noises from the front left mostly. No play in my wheels so i think bearings are fine. So i found this
http://www.myjeepxj.com/cherokee-repairs/u-joint-replacement
my question is that it says you do not need to open the diff to get the axles out. Isnt the dana 30 c-clip? Which would require opening the diff and removing the cclips before the axle can come out right?
And what ujoints are recommended? 5-760x? Obviously Spicer but are there other options you can get from a normal parts store? Thanks for any help.

No, I don't lick fish.
Go to the junkyard and practice removing trim pieces.... I don't think many people on here are going to have much experience removing them. I've learned how to remove a few things by removing it from a junkyard vehicle on a couple of occassions.... if you screw it up, oh well (try to find one that's not in perfect condition, obviously - no use in messing up perfectly good parts).

As for joints 5-260X is the only size that will fit up to about 1995/1996 if you don't have ABS. ABS models and all years newer will take 5-760X or the less strong OE 5-297X. Since some shafts have been swapped you want yo make sure to measure your U joint cap diameter before going in.

So I am dropping the tranny on my 2000 with the aw4 and I have been fighting the passenger side e12 bolt for an hour now. Any body else have this same problem? Or is it just more of my

Where should I buy an ac manifold gauge set? Advance auto, napa or other source? I usually deal with advance over autozone or oreillys.
Just trying not to spend money on a gauge set that will break after I unhook it, like my harbor freight fuel pressure kit did which they took back.

The 4.0L can't really leak oil into the coolant without coolant getting into the oil. It's more likely to dump coolant into oil and the rad stay clean.
