Y'all talking about lca bolts got me wondering...
I've had to tighten my lca frame side and axle side bolts 3 times now in a month. Always after hard wheeling.
I noticed when I pulled the lca just to check the bushings that the bolt was smaller in the middle where the lca bolt rides in the sleeve.
This normal? Almost looked machined that way...

Whether you can use the same bolts up front depends on how the thread is cut. The M14 bolts I bought had a giant shoulder and when installed for the LCAs the nut ran out of threads. I stacked washers in a pinch but this is NOT a good idea! Even hardened washers can become flattened over time.
I actually got the passenger side front leaf bolt out. I have hardware for the rest of it, so including my factory rear leaf bolt (shackle to leaf) I'm covered. Lol

Had to cut the damn shackl to body bolt out and whack the shackle out. One side is almost done. I'm not very pleased with the shackle angle though. I also won't use the RC shackle relocators because they look like they'll add 2" of undesired lift.

That's one of my old lca bolts...see the smaller section?
I replaced with grade 8 9/16ths 4 in bolts.
They fit snugg as a glove

Also is there a way to tell (between fan clutch and thermostat) which one is bad?

If it were me, I would replace the fan clutch.

And, get a 52028186 thermostat from the dealer.

Yes, that's bad. Gonna try just the fan clutch first and see what happens?

I have some Valvoline Dex/Merc left over. Is it ok for power steering fluid change? Just gonna suck the old out and put it in a few times.
