What is the maintenance interval of a drain and fill for trans fluid? Should I drop the pan if its never been serviced and inspect it and replace the filter/strainer?
When dropping an oil pan, what are a few things one would want to look at or look for? Is there a torque sequence or torque lbs rating for the pan bolts?

The dipstick tube is ATTACHED to the pan... I hung onto it for all I was worth to dislodge it... If it aint leaking... leave it... It has a drain plug.. drain and fill until its nice and cherry looking... it took me about 6 changovers b/c the oil had not been changed often enough.
ATF is cheap insurance.. when the oil wears out it causes slippage.. ATF is supposed to maintain friction to prevent slippage... Good Luck....Kirk out...

I need to do a COMPLETE flush of my 4.0's coolant system. The conventional driveway method is not cutting it. Can someone explain the use of the block's drain plugs to me? I can't seem to find a write up or video.

There's 2 of them on the driver's side of the block. 5/16" square drive.

So after doing all my front and work and putting the new front tires on I've developed a slight wobble at around 35-45 mph. It goes away at any speed above or below that range. Its not bad, but I'm sure it will get worse if I don't address the problem. As far as what ive done to the front, is as follows: all new pads, rotors, upper and lower ball joints, hub assemblies, wheel u joints, tre's and rod, drag link, fixed lca's, 4.5" lift coils, f350 sway bar links with new bushings, steering stabilizer, and shocks. I'm getting an alignment done next week but my driveway alignment has the toe 1/8-1/4" inward so I'm good there. Tires where balanced when I had them put on Friday, and I'm running 26psi. Any ideas?
Edit: I guess its more of a shimmy than wobble, slight side to side shimmy in the steering, and you can feel it in the peddles as well.

It's the dorman with flex pipe. I've heard reports of that all stainless one that's available and without flex pipes won't always fit right. I don't want to deal with that. Any other parts I need for this repair? Is there a gasket between the manifold and the mating piece of the downpipe?

The issue is that the header collides with the intake manifold at the head. The solution is to take your time and file the intake manifold as needed. Easy 5 minute job.
