Pull the plug wires one by one and see if you can isolate the miss at idle. The wire you pull, that doesn't change the idle/miss, is where you need to look.

I have a D35 rear axle with the track loc differential and it looks like I need to replace the wheel seals. Yes, I know the D35 is not the best axle, but it is what I have and the seals are cheap. It is just a DD for the moment.
I have read the FSM and looked at the following video Axle seal and bearing 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJ DIY - YouTube on the replacement. It seems real simple to do.
My question is the following for anyone who has done this with the track loc. Is there something more I need to worry about in taking out the lock pin and the pinion shaft to get the C clips out. Is it any more complicated than with a open differential

I know we cover it a lot here, but... oil filters for a '94 4.0L. Between these two, is there a favorite? There's a $10 price difference.
Motorcraft: FL1A
Mobil 1: M1-301
EDIT:
I just found this. Don't know how accurate it is.

The standard filter is rated at 200-250PSI burst.
The M1-301 has a 500PSI burst rating.
You'd notice thicker metal throughout..once you cut it open.
It structurally is basically a racing version of the FL1A

Screw that, get the Motorcraft. It's a pretty good filter for being cellulose. Or pick up a WIX 51452 if you want bombproof.

X2 on superbrightleds.com
Great site, great vehicle-specific application guide, decent prices. I've heard customer service is outstanding, but I've never had a reason to contact them
