So am I looking to replace this?

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...1522214420____

or this:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._805330749____

And I assume I'd want to replace both front ones while I'm at it since the passenger side one probably isn't far behind.

Thanks.

It's not Autozone. Autozone sucks. Thats Advanced, which I seem to have had great luck so far, though I'll peak at a NAPA.

How do I check for play find it and yank on it?

The second link is correct. It's one piece - the hub and bearing.
The Advance Auto will work ok for a little while, but will wear out in 12-18 months...i'd avoid them.

Based on people's experiences I recommend Timken hub assemblies - they seem to hold up the best
Timken part # HA597449 is for 99-01 Cherokee 4x4 Front Axle

Here's a brief guide:
will the dodge neon injectors fit right in without any modification? and are there any cons to doing this? like making the engine run hotter?

yes they'll fit without any modification. No cons, only benefits.

The compressor is for sure kicking in and it stays on.
I'm thinking the cable or whatever is not connected to the temp **** because it's very easy to turn
