It's Renix with the O2 sensor up high in the manifold. Wasn't really an issue on them.

Figured, had a total derp trying to figure it out. My Highway gas mileage is decent. But driving 3 Miles to class is killing me.

So next question is.... Where is the cheapest place to get an apn header? 😁

Are the bolts used to hold on the intake & exhaust manifolds the same same from '96-'01?

I lost one yesterday disassembling, and can pull one from a 2001 Cherokee at the local yard.

10mm wrench.

Probably metric BUBBLE flare then.

How can I figure out which gears I have without tearing into the diff? I have a 98 classic, 4x4 with 4.0 and AW4. I think they are 3.55 but not sure if I have the tow package or not. I have a hitch but don't know if its stock or previous owner put it on. And search on here is not yielding me results

The ID tag may still be on the cover bolts. If not, then count the revolutions. Lift one rear tire with jack and jack-stand. One exact revolution of wheel and 3.5 revolutions of driveshaft/pinion = 3.55 gears.

Real crude way is to drop your trans into neutral and jack the rear up. Mark a point on the inside of the tire and a point on your driveshaft. Spin your tire one complete revolution and count how many times your driveshaft rotates. If it turns 3 complete times you would have a 3.00 gears, If it turns about 3 and 1/2 you'd have around 3.55 or 3.54 gears.. Get the idea?

You will have 3.55:1 unless someone swapped the axles. The tow package hasn't included gear change since the late '80s.

Is it bad or good if my engine can maintain normal operating temp without the e-fan? Still goes up to 218 at the same spot on my drive to work and cools itself back down like normal. I have my e-fan hooked up to a switch i was using for fog lights but i took them out and figured i could hook up the fan while i was under there. Only curious lol
