But on another note, is there a way I can see if my weld nuts have broke? The driver side backed out maybe an inch but now just continuosly spins (not backing out or going in) and the passenger side spins freely and it sounds like a grinding sound on the inside of the frame.
I should be able to see them through the little holes in the frame correct? I'm doing this by myself so it is pretty hard to do this without an extra set of eyes or arms.

There's unused lights on my cluster (full time and cruise) im wondering if I'm able to modify it for my personal use? Such as when I turn the aux lights on, the light ll come on to remind me? Such as high beams.

Depends your year. The 97+ I know is a circuit board and the bulbs complete the circuits. Best bet is to take it apart and study it. If if can solder you may be able to have fun with it

what I meant is that I drill it out, and supply my own power and ground to the led. Would that damage anything on the circuit board if I drilled anything on it?

FULL TIME yes very easily as it's just a light bulb on the end of a circuit switched by the transfer case. Just have to find the wire in the harness. As for CRUISE you'd have to get creative and modify things as it's signalled by the PCM. "Creative" in that case could be as simple as de-soldering from the PCB whichever side of the lamp is switched (not sure if the PCM switches ground or power on the lights), insulating the PCB with epoxy or tape or whatever, and running a lead for the lamp to whatever circuit you want it in.
