What do you mean by "over-sized " ? The more cold cranking amps the better....
My pickup has a 1000 amp battery, turning a Little V6...

That steering gear box likely needs to be replaced if it's that bad, but there is also likely a lot of monkey motion in the tie rod ends on the drag link and tie rod.

If you had a 24V battery for some reason, you'd have a problem. And you'd definitely notice your starter spinning that fast lol

me and electricity aren't friends. While replacing a diesel truck with 2 batteries i accidently grounded both out on this guys firewall. The aftermath was a burn mark and melted handle of my ratchet, burned my hand and melted his firewall.

On the wiring harness, what are the ones that run the ACC stuff? I'm rigging up a push button start with ACC switch.
