Kind of, except opposite. My hard line turns and aims towards the front of the Jeep, wraps 180 in a tight loop around the front of the perch, and then goes into the soft line. I drilled a hole in the soft line bracket to sit over the u bolt threads so I could make it 'stationary'.
I'll look and see if I can find a pic. My setup seemed to work for a while, but I am always open to better solutions lol.

See what I mean about wanting it going back and behind/under the perch? Also looking at the bump stops makes me wonder how they haven't crushed the line yet...
I was looking at stock XJ front driver's side brake hoses. An extra 9 inches I think... I wonder if it would be too much?
Also, sway bar is coming out. POS that it is lol.

Yeah my lines don't go anywhere near there anymore.

The other limiting factor on orienting these soft lines is the stupid 'block' construction of the caliper and hose ends. If the hose ends were more circular vise boxes, it would allow different angle articulation for proper bends.
I think I'll grab a stock front line and see how it goes. I really want to try and route the soft line against the top of the axle running behind the perch and maybe fab an easy bracket to bolt it in place. 9 inches shouldn't be too much I don't think.
Guinea pig status! Oh yeah!

My sentiments exactly!

The bracket did pose its own obstructions. Another quick q... will there be risk adding 'soft' length in terms of braking ability? As in flex, etc? Also, how tight of a turn can brake hose make?

Hmm. How tight are we talking about here lol I would avoid a bend radius less than 2" for 180°

How should I take car of this on the floor? Do I need to try and smooth it out? I bed lined my floor last year and as you can see I need to do some touch ups because of the rust. I'll be bed lining it again but I was thinking I should try and clean it up more or something. I'd put down POR15 but its not available anywhere here so I'd have to order it.

If you don't want to do that, there are a number of products designed to "convert" or "melt" rust in pitted areas. Naval jelly, phosphoric acid, Rust Converter, etc generally react with the iron oxide and turn it into iron phosphate that you can just paint or bedline over.

Axle type for lift kit.
I am currently deployed and want to order a lift kit to put on when I get home but I didnt remember what axle I have so I had the wife send me a picture. What axle do I have? I thought chrysler 8.25 but I dont see that familiar circle off to the right side.
