i believe most is 20 gage, but you'll want 18 gage minimum to be able to weld it

Alright, got a problem here. My power door lock fuse keeps blowing, if I replace it.

What would be some things to start taking a look at?
Things I have recently done- *take door panels off to install new speakers
*install new head unit.

You probably pinched a wire when you did the speakers.

The shock is separate on a xj by design. What size lift do you want?

Not at all makes it easier. Xjs don't have that shock/strut design like smaller cars. However depending on your lift size you will need the coils and shocks and leafs. And etc etc but xjs are easy to work on just rusty sometimes

Ok I just wanna make sure completely that a 12.5 tire will fit on a 8" rim before I go and buy one. I'm just getting it for the spare. But will it safely work?? My other rims are 10".

Got a bit of a bug to work out of my XJ, here goes.

Yesterday when i got in her to warm her up for the day before heading to the store with the wife, I noticed the AC was only functioning on the high setting (4 of 1-4) While settings 1 through 3 are putting out no air. However in setting 4, it blows strong and cold. My brother and I have thus far diagnosed it as a problem in the switch, as everything seems to be functioning in the high setting, looking for some thoughts and opinions, thanks.

Default Radio Issues

Since I bought my XJ (about 3 months) the LF speaker hasn't worked. I pulled the door panel today, pulled the speaker and tested it on another radio; the speaker works. I ran some new wire and spliced into the wires LF+ and LF- at the back of the radio. I hooked it back up and it worked for about 20 seconds and then both L side speaker quit working. Any ideas?

Also the display lights on the radio only work once in a great while, is there anything I can do about that?

i run mobil 1 high mileage full syntec 10w-30. Shes runs great on the stuff and i use a m1-301 oversized mobil filter. If youve never run synthetic before start with semi synthetic and ween over to it.
