Did you burp the cooling system to get all the air out? Is it a dealership thermostat (recommended)? 195°F?

The two bolts that holds the housing to head uses 1/2 socket and the sensor itself uses 11/16

We're talking about the sending unit at the back of the head. Not the thermostat housing

EDIT: At least that's what I'm talking about. Am I wrong?

Default XJ Leaf Spring Sag

Prior to installing a Smittybilt rear bumper / tire carrier on my '98 XJ I was pleased with the clearance gained by its 3" lift. After installing the bumper / carrier the rear is sagging a bit. I need to get some lift back there and am thinking of adding another leaf or replacing the leafs with either a 3.5" or 4.5" packs. What have others done to compensate for additional weight in the rear? Thanks

Have you considered shackle relocation brackets? There are a lot of ways to add height in the back. What's your current shackle angle?

What brand and type of lift do you currently have installed?
