75/85-90 for non towing or heavy duty use. 75-140 for towing. Friction additive for LSD. Iirc
TC takes the cheapest auto fluid you can find. ATF or Dex is fine. I don't have the axle info in front of me, and I don't wanna guess
Hopefully ill actually be able to hit the trail this weekend after fighting with this damn thing for weeks.
Turn signals not working, hazards do
I have read a bunch of threads on this issue, but no luck, and am now stuck.
2000 XJ 4.0 4door
I have replaced the flasher relay, the turn signal stalk, and checked/rechecked every fuse in the jeep under the hood and behind the passenger kick panel. I cannot for the life of me get the turn signals to work. Anyone have anything further I can try?

Engine Vibes HELP
Vehicle: '99 XJ, 4.0L engine, ax15 manual trans, 170,000 miles
Problem: Engine vibes between 2300-3500 RPM. With the vehicle parked I run the RPMs up to 3500 RPM. Between 2300-3500 RPM I can notice a significant vibration. If I apply pressure to the clutch I can feel major vibes through the clutch pedal. The vibes are worst after I run the RPMs up and right when I let off the throttle I get the worst vibes for about a second. I don't have any noticeable lose of power under acceleration. In an effort to fix the problem I replaced my worn out engine mounts and the problem still persists. I replaced the distributor cap, rotor, plugs and plug wires bout 15,000 miles ago.
What do you guys think? Do you think this is engine related or could it be the throw out bearing or something like that in my ax15? NO these are not drivline vibes its independent of speed. Please throw your ideas out there.

I have exact same issue on my jeep right now. I know my left engine mount is shot, haven't had time to replace it. I can really feel harsh vibes on my gas pedal when engine speed get above 2500 rpms. I'm hoping u find your solution so I could look into it whenever I have time, ha

PLEASE HELP!
had rough driving jeep issues codes p0113/p0118/p0740 Checked crankshaft camshaft sensors okay! check solenoids okay! Ended up changing
*trans mission fluid.
* transmission pan gasket
*transmission filter.
*Oil change/oil filter
*intake air temperature sensor
*thermostat
*thermostat housing
* air filter
*Engine coolant temperature sensor
Codes went away NOTE: I did not reset codes or disconnect battery.
Code p0118 came back
Code p0740 came back
Code P0118 intake air temperature sensor code P0740 has intake air temperature sensor as a possible problem so I'm thinking P0118 and P0740 have to do with the engine coolant temperature sensor which I replaced leading me to believe perhaps the wiring or the PCM For at least those two codes. Yesterday I disconnected engine coolant temperature sensor and I did not get any readings on the dashboard so I wiggled the wires from engine coolant temperature sensor to the PCM disconnected the PCM connections Black and white inspected blew them out and reconnected codes do not show up now I'm not sure if Discolette connecting The black and white PCM connectors reset the PCM and the codes or if the wiggling the wires adjusted connection or short and temporarily fixed the code
But I'm leaning towards diagnosis being
loose or poor connection or short or open circuit from engine coolant temperature sensor to PCM or bad PCM for codes p0118 and p0740
In addition it's showing code p1391 now
I'm not sure if P1391 can be from engine coolant temperature sensor or PCM help would be greatly appreciated as I am a carpenter not a mechanic and I did not know as much as How to change oil a week ago
