Beach Bum
The first radio you posted seems to have the same option, but the one from Shamazon uses a basic 3.5mm plug that plugs in front. Will not charge or be able to control device through radio.

For the guys who like OE style looks but want new style sound/quality, there are companies that make OE looking decks but they have Aux connections for your devices. On the older vehicles, it helps as no one wants to steal a 1980's cassette player. lol
Its the MAP sensor.....
Im having problems with my 1993 jeep yj 4.0 automatic...my issue is a while back it turned off on me but I was able to turn it back on again. Then it turned off on me again about an hr of driving but I was able to turn it on immediately again and drive again. About 2 months after from my first issue I had a different issue today it felt like it lost power and wanted to turn off but it didn't it did it twice today then it didn't do it again going to work and coming back from work... any body know what my issue could be? bad crank sensor?
My '93 XJ Country had the same issue. It would shut down after about 30 minutes. It would restart after a few attempts At first it would feel like a skip, or a miss while driving. over time, it got worse..
It was the MAP, or manifold absolute pressure sensor. changed it, the problem went away.. Its located on the firewall in front of the driver. There is a wire and a vacuum line going to it. Easy Peasy to change. I got the delco 100.000 mile part.. sixty bucks.

I have a similar unit with the multi-pin cable that plugs in back of head unit. I-pod stays in closed ashtray, radio and remote controls everything on Ipod, song/artist info is scrolled across head unit. Also charges. Remote control is mounted on steering wheel.

My np231 on my 91 has had shifting issues since I first tested it out after the sye (and a number of other stuff). It wouldn't go into 4lo and wouldn't stay in 2wd and when I got it into 4hi it was grinding.
Anyways, I am pretty sure either the rod is too long and I messed sometting up forcing it into gear OR I am missing the spring that's supposed to go on the mode shift fork's rod.
Where can I fond that spring? I have googled til my eyes bled and can't find it. If they don't sell it anyone know about what size it is so I can buy one from a hardware store? Any help is appreciated.

Do your research first. I've seen nothing but horror stories from those companies

doesnt smell like mildew at all it just has a funky smell like old food and slightly smells like dog so it drives me insane sometimes lol. hmm well since i might just pull the carpets out and wash them itll give me a chance to repair any rust holes and such under it im quite sure it has many because i opened the door and closed it some metal chunks fell off so i might just pull them out and wash them and maybe spray bedliner under it while im at it. is it hard to pull the carpets out? is there parts that are glued or hard to remove? also i hear bathroom cleaner works very good and neutralizes the smell in a car its the cheapy kind at the dollar store with no bleach idk i just heard that it works well when cleaning interior of cars. plus i might need to spray the bolts for the seats and an screws related to the carpets lol im sure those are gonna be a pain to remove without wd40 or something. and by the looks of it they are bad one bolt already snapped on the drivers seat and now has a very annoying squeak when i lean back or when i accelerate lol. dont ask where the bolt went either im still trying to figure that out myself. also is the carpets all one piece or several pieces? also im still a noob at this site so i dont know how to reply to a single person. so i hope this finds the responder lol

Thanks for all your help through out the years. Maybe I'll buy another one just so you guys can get a chuckle out of my silly jeep antics. Seriously, you have been a big help to me. Not once did a mechanic try to rip me off cause I sounded like I knew what I was talking about.
