Hey cruiser, did you watch the whole video? there are two wires he talks about. Me and him were talking about it earlier and I too was wondering. So if the first one is for the hood light than what's the second one?

so my new jeep has a slight wobble at 60mph and I'd like to nip this in the bud and replace whatever I need to in the front end after I get it on the lift today or tomorrow. I'd like to get as complete of a set of bushings as I can if possible. Are there any companies I should avoid?

I'm having a weird problem with my 97, 4.0, auto trans xj. Its all stock besides a lift. Anyways, here's the issue:

Went to start it and the key just went right passed the "run" position and could freely move in the area that would normally cause it to start, but didn't start the jeep nor "spring back" from the start position as normal. After getting a ride to work and trying again, it will click in an out of the "lock" position, and move freely, but wont stop in the "run" or "start" position, and I have no lights or other indications that the key is doing anything.
I bought a new ignition lock cylinder and installed it and it makes no difference, so I'm stumped. Any ideas before I just start taking things apart?

They certainly are not very impressive lights. You'd think they would have them a little brighter.

Mine took all kinds of effort to clean and fix up to get it working again, all for a light that is about as bright as a flashlight with a half dead battery.

That's why I switch all my courtesy lights to LEDs

Where does it plug into? my A/C works, and it is far too short to plug into the compressor.

sooo Ive had issues with my jeep dying overnight and we found out the radio clock doesnt turn off when the jeep is off so I took the fuse out for that. But that didnt fix the problem. Every other night if I dont drive it or let it run it dies. So I figured not a big deal if I drive it everyday but how am I supposed to have a nice drive if I cant blast some music? I recharged my battery and got my jeep runnin, I took one of the terminals off to see if it was my alternator and that was fine. Its also possibly a parasitic drain. Any ideas?

If it dies while it's running, it's almost guaranteed to be alternator-related. Could be a loose wire or possibly a bad ground if the alternator itself is good

Could be a parasitic drain, or a bad cell in the battery. You need to get a multimeter and perform a draw test.

Mechanical to digital speedometer cable conversion:

So what I've got is an '85 Cherokee Chief (2 door) with manual 4 speed.

Speedometer is kaput. No idea where the fault lies at the moment, but I'm in the middle of gutting and replacing the wiring harness, and getting the mechanical cable in and out of the cluster is a PitA. So... I thought to myself... how about we just take this thing to digital? I wanted to update the cluster, anyways."

So I'm wondering if anyone has experience with this, and could recommend any vendors/products?
