So I go to the search bar and type in what I'm looking for, then click search and every time it just shows me either the most recent posts or possibly the most popular threads. Now I don't expect it to be as accurate and smooth as Google but I at least expect it to give me results similar to what I just searched. I don't believe I'm being to specific either because it's the same if I was to search "lift" or "no start" which I'm fairly positive there is a thread title out there that has those exact words in it. I don't know, I'm probably just being dumb but any help you could give me would greatly reduce my recent high stress level lol! Thanks Guys!
In Google type Cherokee forum, boom a search Cherokee forum pops up,, that's the one I use.

Alternatively, add site:cherokeeforum.com to the end of your search text

You have that vacuum heater valve junk still in there? Sounds logical that it was trapping Sludge of the Ages (the same Sludge that originally overheated the Ark of the Covenant) and you just undid that nice shiny radiator. Also the smashed up A/C rad thingy (whatever the technical term is. Condensor?) blocking air is good. Can you set it aside for a cruise and see if that makes a difference?

Also, the hell are you doing turning on heat in the middle of July? You drive to work with no doors on in January... This woman is changing you, man, LJ or no...

Also this. My favorite method, as it works from my ****-tastic out of date phone.

You are basically correct that the in-site search tool is useless. It appears to be a simple OR match on posts within a thread, sorted by date.

Lol'd hard at "Sludge of the Ages"...

I think that was my entire system when I got the jeep. "Rust Free!" Bulldoodies, it was in my cooling system. The crap I drained out on the first flush is currently being scrutinized by NASA for the origins of the solar system, by the DOD for possible weaponization, and by big pharma as a promising cure for cancer, diabetes, and occasional lower back pain.

Ok so I wasn't doing something wrong. Thanks that's basically what I've been doing, just type into Google "Cherokeeforum" then follow that with what I want to search. From what I understand that's basically what everyone's saying to do right?

I'm glad you got an answer, but this is not technically the proper thread section to post about a Google search (being that this is the ask the question thread I'm not saying it was wrong for you to post here) since it is in the OEM Cherokee Tech section. There are sections for non Cherokee questions.

Since u ll need to wrangle with the hub bolts and the axle nut, yes, use jack stands. And beside its always safer to use stands whenever u jack up a vehicle for any reason
