Maybe consider fixing, not bandaiding, this issue. Your motor mounts are probably shot.

New mounts are literally five bucks apiece on RockAuto. Do it, I shredded a brand new all-aluminum rad because I didn't know about this.

How long has the sensor been sitting in the sun when you check the temp? The display in my truck takes about 5 minutes to start showing 'real' temp after being parked. And what are you comparing it to?

Your saying you think motor mounts would be too difficult? They are extremely simple, just visually inspect them for cracks and then make sure all the bolts are tight.

This isnt a stock mount but it's a little easier to see in a picture:

The stock ones look like this:

Any of them... they're all the same crappy (factory) design. Pretty sure I got the first one.

Also, the jeep had no stereo in it when I bought it.

When you say no power, did you check the ground and power with a multi meter or something. Or does the radio just not turn on?

Do your dome lights work? I'd be willing to bet that your dome light fuse is blown, and that circuit is what supplies constant power to the radio.

Youtube mechanics, love that term and honesty. Not that I am an expert by any means.

I noticed a knocking under my 95 cherokee near the transfer case. I got under it and noticed it was my drive shaft where it connects to the transfer case. I got my buddy to put it in gear and give it gas. The transfer case torques and the driveshaft rubs the frame. I also noticed that where the 4 wheel drive lever linkage ( excuse my terminology I'm not sure the actual name) isn't connected to the bracket. So I connected it. After I drove it for maybe 30 seconds it popped back out. (Im guessing due to the transfer case moving) What is the cause of it.
