On to the next issue. Just tried to install cruise control. Got everything wired up and turned the jeep on. Airbag light is on and the horn no longer works. Thoughts?

I'm having trouble pinpointing my death wobble issue. Anywhere over 60mph a bump can cause a severe death wobble. At 70mph+ the jeep gets a decent shake in the front end. My jeep is 100% stock. All new, within 1000 miles, tie rod ends, ZJ tie rod, and a brand new stock track bar. I can't see any play in parts when someone turns the wheel. Didnt see/feel any play in the wheels when i tried to move them vertically & horizontally. Ball joints were replaced by PO about 50k ago. Just had the tires balanced and alignment is good. The only thing I can see now is that my lower control arm bushings are completely dry rotted and worn out, but i dont know if that could be the cause.

Any help would be appreciated. 1999 Cherokee, 4.0, AW4, 4x4.

Control arms can cause DW. They aren't a common culprit, but I've seen it happen

Im not sure that it's the cause. It happens or feels like its about to happen so often now, that I feel like it should just be 100% obvious.

A bad steering stabilizer or bad shock bushings can cause DW as well.

On my 96 it was the connection at sender that was dirty and causing jeep to 'no start' or start only with gas pedal to floor.

Will not be that obvious by moving parts by hand. Even at droop there are loads on the suspension that can prevent visual diagnoses for slop.
Your description of the condition of control arm bushings is a red flag and can certainly be the cause of DW.
DW is basically an oscillation of front axle, induced by sudden movement (bump). The oscillation is allowed because there are parts in the front end that have slop, like bad CA bushings. The arms and their bushings are what hold the axle in place front to back. Track bar holds side to side.

I heard it was normal for C-clip axles to have a play in them, but right now when I go over bumps at normal speed, I hear "clunk" type noise coming from, what I believe is, the rear-end. I don't have access to a jack right now so I can't check, but is it normal that at every other bump this happens?

I also noticed when decelerating that I get a vibration (humming noise) which sounds like tires. But after looking online I learned it could be the gears, so could all this be linked? I think my front pinion bearing is going bad, so I think this might probably be it.

What needs to be replaced in the diff at this point if that's my problem? I know I probably won't be able to do that myself, but at least to get an idea of the costs.
