Is the stock gas tank skid even worth the hassle? The JY near me sells them for $30.
Also is there any reason why I shouldn't notch that bracket some?

Beach Bum
I advise against notching the bracket. This will cause the front axle to 'tuck' under jeep even more. It is already tucking too far, and resists returning. When bump/obstacle is encountered with axle drooped, the axle is pushed towards rear of jeep rather than upwards.
Your best best with that set-up would be control arm drop brackets..

Stock skid is adequate for most of us. But not strong enough to slam the skid on rocks/boulders. I advise against notching the bracket. This will cause the front axle to 'tuck' under jeep even more. Less tech, more OEM
I apologize because I know this is more for tech than accessories, I found no where else pertaining to a few (what seem to be) hard to find parts for my 2000 xj. I've scoured the internet from one side to the other and back for any information or sales of OEM running boards that fit the wheel molds of 97 to 01 xj cherokees. Mine is a 2-door and painting wouldn't be any sort of a problem. Unfortunately it seems that a lot of the OEM boards were taken off and forgotten or ruined on someone's first outing with it. I'm keeping my car as stock as I can for now as I need it to take me back and forth for college for the next few years and be my daily driver for however long afterwards. I have no intentions of lifting her and ever since I saw the oem boards on a black limited i've been searching for them. I don't want nerf bars, I don't want aftermarkets, and unfortunately my pickiness has led me to a practical standstill. What few posts I've found have been 4+ years old except for one i found posted within the last month (who's poster never returned or responded since his posting). If anyone has any sort of information on a complete set with the wheel-swell moldings, would they be able to help me out? Or if not on here help me navigate to a proper forum page to ask there?
I greatly appreciate any help that can be given!

Fuel pump fuel filter
Anybody know if this fuel pump includes the filter in the assembly? From what I've been reading the fuel filter for 97-01 is in the fuel pump assembly. This is the one I want to get but not sure if it includes the fuel filter. Any input would be great here's a link to the pump I'm wanting to order

Found this in the reviews:
"This was by far an excellent experience. I had many phantom problems with my 1999 Jeep XJ and it all led back to my fuel module. In learning about this whole process I found out that the "module" is actually the following parts:
- fuel pump
- fuel filter
- fuel level gauge
- fuel pressure regulator"

No LEDs in the cluster just my outside markers in front of Cherokee and sides use to have fast blinking but installed a led flasher and it was settled until recently I upgraded to the sylvania LEDs and that's when my cluster markers stay lit up
