I'm wanting to put the black interior trim from the 97 up XJ in my 93 XJ. Does anybody know if the rear hatch trim will swap over?

When I try turning it though, I get this sound on the passenger side and when turning corners at slow/medium speed, I can hear a clunk, but I always thought it was the c clip.

Sounds like axle u-joint. Wheel bearing usually will make a growling or grinding noise and also makes excessive heat.
Try this, turn the steering wheel some then rotate wheel while you watch the u-joint.

I don't know too much but I do know that you will need a PCM from a manual jeep of that year (1999) otherwise your check engine light will always be on. The driveshaft lengths and bolting patterns may be different. Also wiring will be different. .

Short answer yes. Long answer no. You can swap it in just fine. Won't be able to drive it till you put in a manual column, petal assy, ecu, drill the fire wall. And none of the 92 stuff would work. Have to find 99 parts

problem: stuttering/ hesitation, similar to misfire, wants to stall, bucking, sometimes hard to start or keep running when the symptoms pop up. or, it runs perfectly and starts right up and runs fine.
hasn't stalled while idling in driveway yet, will drive normal for a bit then stutter and buck some and generally make it so I can't drive it for fear of not making it home
new- less than 500 miles-
mopar CPS for manual trans
IAC-oem
TPS- (mopar ordered)
plugs/wires/coil
battery
every ground wire is new bigger wire/ refreshed
front o2 sensor
Catalytic converter is original but nothing rattles when I whack it
tested fuel pressure several times times and was within spec each time- 49 psi
never a check engine light
distributor
pick up sensor/ camshaft sensor -the sensor inside distributor( I think its from autozone though)
don't know the age of the fuel pump (bosch on order) , and I'm hoping its not the ECM
I've read tons about changing cps, fuel pump, filter, coolant sensor(this valid?) and a million other things but I haven't figured it out yet. seems like I've replaced almost the whole jeep, I'm sure I forgot to list some things I replaced.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
