I don't know what your budget is. I just know you said you're young, you have unstable income, and a $1k lift kit is very expensive for you. Project vehicles aren't cheap, and you'll sink every dollar you don't have into it. I'm not telling you what you should or shouldn't do, because I don't know your situation. I'm just saying it sounds like sticking to one vehicle would be responsible right now, based on what you've said here.

i spliced into my wiring harness to a toggle switch. the only bad thing is that it it through a code but could be fixed through a relay theoretically. in the summer my jeep runs hot but as soon as i flip the switch it cools down quick and to the right temp. honestly i would just tap into the harness instead of spending $$

Help me need any and all information regarding this knocking noise in the transmission see when i go from park to drive the noise starts and once on neutral its stops but shifting back to drive starts up again with no gas although giving it gas does cause the sound as well. reverse no problem (sound). grand Cherokee jeep 4x4

Help me! Need any and all information regarding this knocking noise in the transmission. See, when I go from park to drive, the noise starts. Once in neutral, it stops, but shifting back to drive starts it up again with no throttle, although giving it gas does cause the sound as well. Reverse, no problem (sound).
Does it do it in 2WD and 4WD? If so, is there a change in the noise between 4x2 and 4x4?
Do you know the difference between the transmission and the transfer case? If so, are you sure it's the trans that's making the noise?

First off, please try to use commas and periods when you type. It makes your post much easier to read, and people are more likely to try to help.

and yes its more than likely the transfer case.

on a side-note the drive shaft that powers front wheel drive has been removed, "previous owner" one more thing, this issue began after i revved my engine in drive. thanks again for any and all help guys.

I got a video question too...well more of an audio one but does the squeaking sound like a wheel bearing? I think it's from the right rear one. Or is it brakes?

Does anyone know the difference between the black rubber Fel-pro (VS 50458 R) valve cover gasket and the blue fel-pro valve cover gasket? Are they the same just different colors? Is one better?

PermaDry vs PermaDry Plus. Some folks can only buy blue, I could only find black. Can't go wrong with either lol. They're both silicone as far as I know. I've got the black one on my 4.0
