NSS or Shift cable interlock?
Question. 1996 Automatic. Sometimes I have to push shifter hard forward in Park to get jeep to turn over. Would this be an issue with the shift interlink cable that connects ignition to shifter, or the NSS ? Reverse lights work fine.

Sounds like NSS to me. Pull it off, clean it, and put it back on and have someone help you adjust intro the right location so it starts in park and neutral.

All clear, but I did spill beer in there (not while driving). When I push forward on shifter the ignition cable does not move, but the cables going to transmission does move. Seems more like NSS.

Is this a 2nd requirement only when the transmission is in park? Mine seems to have issues startinging more often than not so I've been trying to start in neutral without much luck. Tried getting the NSS off this past weekend and it's seized on there good and 2 of the threads ripped off while trying to remove it. I have another on order I'm going to try again this weekend.

Dammit... Now I want to know if anybody ever put a white glove on the right mirror of a Comanche just for kicks.
Then do a "Fiat/Chrysler is not my lover.. YAO! She's just a girl, who says IIII am the one... AH... the Jeep is not my son" with like a Compass or a Renegade or something.
Yes, I am normally like this. Quit staring.

My coworker suggested that if you regear the front end so that it's a higher ratio and spins in reverse (say put a 4.88 rear axle up front or something), you could do a burnout in reverse while the tires LOOK like they're going forward.
I am a 2 year jeep owner and enjoy my 96 country it is the inline 6 cylinder 4 liter. My turn signals and four ways stopped working there is no click no blink, in the manual it says slot 8 to have a yellow 20 amp there is nothing someone suggests putting one in slot 10 that it will fix the problem. Relays were also discussed. I can find the simple under dash fuse panel anything you guys suggest further please post pictures video links anything you feel will help me fix this. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME FROM ONE JEEP LOVER TO ANOTHER

Coil on Plug replacement
I am in the process of changing the spark plugs and wires on my 2001 XJ. The coil on plug kit includes new insulators and coils. I gave them a little pull but I was afraid I would mess something up if I just pulled them off.
What is the correct way to remove and replace the coils?
Thank you.

Not looking to start a debate, just a couple quick hits... I'm researching LA upgrades, and have plans to grab serious offroad's upgrade. I'm just curious on your guys thoughts for long arms on a DD that see's 300+ highway miles a week?
Currently have stock CA's so I was looking to complete bypass everything else and go straight to LA's.
Thanks!

I'd recommend this, too, based on everything I've read. But almost any LA kit will ride nicer than SA
