Prior to this:
1. CPS went out- replaced w/out issue
2. Smog shop ripped off a vacuum line on the top of the manifold - fixed torn boot/cleared CEL no issue
3. Leaky Trans Cooler Line - Fixed
4. Replaced motor and tranny mounts.
After the mounts I got a CEL P301
1. Switched injector 1 & 3 code stayed with cylinder 1
2. Replaced wires/plugs/cap/rotor - no change
3. Took it in for a compression and leak down test - all very good - no change
4. Used BG 44k in the gas tank and have driven it around 600 miles (2 tanks of gas). Still having the misfire esp when cold.
How long before I see results with the BG 44k? Should I retreat? Any suggestions or advice on how to proceed is greatly appreciated.
Probably did, but you double checked the cylinder # right?

Edit: The PO on mine had butt connectors on the wiring for injector 1...I promptly replaced with solder and heatshrink. None of that nonsense right?

No the wire looks good. I was worried that maybe I pinched a wire when I did the mounts too bc the engine was sagging quite a bit and I had to jack it up a lot to re align with the new mounts.

Yes And I had a shop do the compression and leak down tests. And no nonsense with the wires.

U ever check the wiring in the back on top of engine near the firewall? That's where injector wires are coming from

The wires look fine and definitely not pinched or showing signs that they were. The ground wire from the firewall to the valve cover is mad dirty with oil from my leaky valve cover. I was going to clean the engine and replace my valve cover just prior to this misfire...

while you are into there, inspect the wiring. Sometimes it lay resting on the very hot intake manifold

x2 on this... you literally can't mistake a d35 for an 8.25

I can spot them from far away driving down the roadway now.

...and then have to fight the urge not to run them off the roadway and steal their axle.

If I set the main spool drag to 12,500lbs and the drag starts to pull spool at 10,000lbs.
Could that be a clue the spool drag brakes are in need of replacing,
or is my gauge off and Im really set at 10 even tho it says set to 12,500. Im thinking brakes on the main spool.

Opps sorry wrong forum...lol
