Went for a drive today with the wifey, noticed that the voltage levels pretty much follow each other up and down between 0 and 1, except at idle. Then sensor 1 goes to .2 volts and number 2 goes to 1v. Also the obd2 coolant sensor and the gauge seam to correspond correctly. Or is the ECU using a separate sensor? Didn't get a chance to measure any voltages. Also the emissions never finishes the O2 diagnostics.

How long once you returned to idle did it take to start reading rich? PCM trying to lean itself enough to cause a code will basically abort the O2 sensor readiness monitor.

What about the pitman arm? I heard it offers an inch drop over the stock XJ. Will that be about right for ~4" lift?

Get the whole ZL steering box and get a quicker ratio along with about a 3/4"pitman arm drop.

Hmm, learn something new every day.
Question from myself though, I have a pair of Chevy Cavalier seats sitting in my shed. I have done some searching, but have not found a relevant answer. Will these seats bolt into an XJ?
I know they will on a YJ since that was mainly the answers i had found.

When accelerating at slow speed and braking from high speeds, I get a vibration in the steering wheel. I also noticed my center console vibrates much more than usual. I recently replaced the front driveshaft which fixed the most part of the problem, but I still have those slight vibes.
what is more likely to cause this? TREs? ball joints? I can't find anything loose.

hi every one,im new to this forums. i have a question perhaps someone can answer to it. anyways i just bought a 2000 cherokee 4.0 and it came with the service light on and the code p0306 ( cylinder 6 misfire ) so since is a new car to me i did a tune up plugs, filters, coil pack ext. reset code and after 50 miles of drive the light came back on w same code... what else can i do?
Gentlemen, thank you. Heard about the water pump weep hole...my 99 XJ has been leaking ....very annoying...trying to find from whence cometh the drops...two radiator hoses replaced as they were definitely soft and aged appearing...today in O-Reilly Auoparts store ...stopped in for a new radiator cap as my mechanic had said mine was suspect ...purchased new pump and radiator cap...but after reading this thread, I am inclined to return the pump and go with the FlowKool and the 180 degree thermostat...planning to have this XJ for some years.
No, I don't lick fish.

Single sensor for coolant temp in OBD-II.

When it seems to go really negative is idling while coasting downhill:
Idling in the parking lot for a few minutes:
Edit: HA look at that...It did the opposite today...^
Also, when initially letting of the accelerator to coast both sensors go to 0V for a bit and then come back up.
