I still cant find the MAP sensor on the 85 Dodge 600..I took out the glove box on the passenger side and tried to take out the other little glove box over the ash tray but didnt have a crooked screw driver...My stubby is even too long..Anyway when I took the papers out and read the emissions back in 03 for the Dodge...1147 NOX would pass..Now NOX has to be 995 and 905 at 25mph?...They really are trying to get the old vehicles of the road in the city,arent they?...The 85 has no more emissions tests but oh my poor Jeep!!! Turning 21 and no freedom

Anyone have a trick for moving the front axle backward to align the upper control arm bolt hole?
I pressed in a new bushing but I need to move the axle back about 3/4 of an inch to get the UCA bushing bot hole in alignment with the UCA mounting hole.

Put it in reverse/drive and let the drivetrain stretch. Also try turning the wheels.....it worked well for me. It takes a buddy with a bolt too!

i have a question hopingsome one can answer. I have a 93 cherokee, runs fine but the brake lights, hazards, and dome light dont work. nor the radio. turn signals DO work as well as headlights and reverse lights work. fuses all seem fine. and guesses?

Sounds like tge back up fuse is gone.

I have wires running to the back soundbar for speakers but I dont know which one is positive and negative, and I have an aftermarket stereo head unit and aftermarket Kenwood speakers that came with seperate positive and negative wires for the right side and left side to connect the speakers to the stock wires, my question is....can I just choose one to be negative and positive and just connect the wires to them to the speakers?

Wire is wire...as long as they arent crossed between speaker and headunit, you're fine.

A trick i use to identify the polarity on the speaker is take a C battery and using spare wiring connected to the speaker,touch the wire to the battery. If the speaker bulges in, you have the polarity reversed. The speaker should flex out. As far as the harness, use an ohm meter to find the ground.

For someone not interested in sq, hooking them up any way is ok. Only a small amount of people can tell the difference. There is a slight difference between negative and positive sound waves, but as to hurting the speakers, you will not damage anything.

I had cylinder 3 misfire. I changes spark plugs and the boot to the plug. I am told that the last thing it could be is the coil pack. I didn't get to it right away, so for fun I stopped to have my code read. It read cylinder 1 and 3 misfire. Now I'm guessing that means the coil pack is just continuing to wear down. But I though I'd double check before I spent $130 on a coil pack.
