I was wondering if anyone has bought or used these center caps on their xj

http://www.morris4x4center.com/cente...-52089008.html

I am missing two center caps and originals are hard to find/expensive.

It says they fit, but they appear molded differently from the originals.

Possibly painting them silver (like so: https://i.imgur.com/bn1juiU.jpg).

from the description

  • Fits like original part
  • Made to OE specs

I would assume if they list that, then they have tested teh fit, the originals were ABS plastic that is hard and gets brittle over time. These look to be a hybrid of PVC.

Spicer 5-153X U-Joint Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CKN762..._Piu9wbPDZ2XV4

I just want to double check and make sure these u-joints will fit in all 3 locations on my front drive shaft.
I'm really only asking because of the grease fittings. I want to make sure they won't interfere with anything.

what are widths of the stock upper control arm mounts on the body side? I am ordering Heims to replace my Johnny Joints that are blown out, and i am not entirely sure what size they are 2" or 2-5/8"?

Maybe he's talking about posting a poll? Shouldn't boxes pop up for options when you click the check box?

I'm not sure what the technical name for this hose is, but it keeps dripping water when I shut off the engine. I haven't messed with anything under the dash yet--not really--so this may become obvious when I do. Gotta replace that heater core (which is why there aren't hoses in the way--I bypassed the rusted core and just hooked the hoses together).

Anyway, is this something to do with the evaporator? And does this mean I need to get a new one?

Engine is a 4.0L I6 on a 98 XJ.

Also, I have yet to pick up the temp sensor on the bumper of the jeep I pulled this off of so maybe that will give me the harness for one of the green or black to connect to. But still unsure of the display power. Also, the red plug only has 3 of the 6 spots filled in the connector on my jeep. Any got any ideas? Thanks
The display may be dammaged? I'm not sure what voltage it's supposed to send to that unit. It may be worth wile to have a look at a wiring diagram to see what voltage the computer sends to it before you go and try making your own wires
Or just what's what in general.
