Looks to be, but I'd have to check. I thought about that, but it's riveted to the bracket that bolts to the frame rail, so I can't just swap it out. That was actually my initial thought until I realized it was riveted.

Actually, the exhaust hanger at the crossmember looks the same (riveted). What part do I need to replace that mount as well? I want to replace them all at the same time. Do I need to replace the entire plate thats sandwiched between the trans and trans mount?
I'm replacing my front D30 axle with one from a junkyard (car accident). I am replacing the ball joints, UCA bushings, wheel hub/bearing assembly, U-joints , as well as changing the fluid. Is there anything I'm missing? I'd like to just change everything now and not deal with it once it is on the car. Also, is it necessary to replace the inner axle seals? I have looked up how to do it some and it seems too involved for my level of competency with working on cars.

I plan on getting a set for mine. 55 bucks is cheap insurance, IMO.

Added insurance/necessary depending on what you do or don't want getting into your axle tubes. If you wheel it, it will help keep out dirt, dust, and especially water from your tubes... plus, if it were me and I lived in the rust belt, I'd put these on to help keep the nasty salt from rusting the housings from the inside out.

Just watched a video on youtube about the install of these seals. Looks like the only thing that holds them in place is silicone. Doesn't seem that secure. Is that all it needs?

Yellow box with wires under the driver side dash Renix
Is this some old alarm system part or something important? Yellow box bigger than a deck of cards, down above the drivers left foot with wires coming out the back. 90 4 liter renix cherokee 4x4 auto.
